you'll spend upwards of $7-8/gal in some places for race gas. totally not worth it when it wont do a thing for you unless you're tuned for that specific octane.

there are a few places that have 100+ octane in nicer cities (la jolla, orange county, del mar, etc...) just look around.

i think that all the fuel boosters are B/S,
some brand might clean fuel line little but not anything more...

which oct booster do you use..?
i use one from STP sometimes,
not for boosting fuel but, for porpose of cleaning fuel line...

i think of it as vitamin for my engine...

don know if it works
but i still pour that sucker into gastank out of my love for the engine..

Motorcycle shops may have 100+ octane pumps.

I know a kawasaki shop in town sells 100+ octane here, I'm unsure of whether or not any additives they put into the gasoline will harm a car motor though.

Octane booster has reportedly been linked to creating engine sludge, like an orange goo. I use it to clean my fuel system from time to time, but I sure wouldn't run it daily to boost my octane.

Also, your car shouldn't be noticeably better running on 100+ octane, in fact, it may make your car run worse. Your engine is tuned for a specific octane for a reason. Tune your car to 100+ octane if that's what you want to use.

octane boosters are crap. I used to buy those little bottles of techron and add it to a tank to clean the fuel system out every few months...no idea if it did anything. I also did a regular seafoam treatment and I know that did something....also busted my o2 sensor
