no...they utilize two seperate bulbs in these headlights. The low beam uses the H3 bulb and the high beam uses an H1 bulb unlike our stock headlights which use just one bulb Hope this helps...any other questions?
go to their site, then look at the top left and click on "headlamp assemblies", and then go to "projector headlamps", then "civic 99-00", and then scroll down to the bottom of the page. The last two listings will be the angel eyes. One with chrome housing with the clear lense on the low beams and one with chrome housing with the blue ion lense on the low beam. I have the Blue ions if you are wondering but mine are on a 5th gen.

So this isn't the true HID system. It just takes H1 and H3 bulbs? How do you hook up two bulbs to our Civic headlight connections? Does it come with some type of adaptor that will split it for two bulbs? How well does it light up the road? Doing it this way give the BMW look? Also, you said you have the Ion Blue housing, how does it look? Thanks.

no it's not an HID system...it never claimed to be Yes it takes H1 for the high beams and H3 for the low beams. I have no clue what you mean by "hook up two bulbs to our Civic headlight connections" : The projectors come with wiring harness and two bulbs already in the headlights. It lights up the road fine...just have to adjust them. The pic is in the sig so see for yourself...does it look like the BMW ones? It looks blue in the daytime and at night has kind of a goldish tint to it...looks sweet. If you look at it from different angles...it looks blue too. Your welcome.
damn, those look tight! especially if thats them in ur sig, probinu. are these new by the way? i've never seen them in the show arena before or on other cars... i sure hope they come out w/ them soon for the 92-95 civic.

i'm trying to figure out the difference between those last two projectors listed on that site. one is blue ion, the other is "clear" does that just mean one of them uses regular bulbs and the blue ion has blue bulbs inside? cause can't we just buy our OWN bulbs to change the color??
no. i have the blue ion in my car. The difference is the lenses. One (mine) has the blue lense...completely blue and the other is clear just like you read. They both still use the exact same H3 and H1 bulbs Hope that helps
k just ONE more question, i like the angel eye projection lamps, but i don't like that mirrored/chrome housing. what i prefer is the smoked, black housing like this:
hey Probinu, not to sound like an idiot but, where did you get your angel eye projectors from? i checked the site u listed but the site only has them showing for the 99-00 Civic. Any info if can give is awesome. the more i look at those projectors the more i wanna buy them!
