Will 14" steelies clear the calipers?

A friend had to sell her rims to get a new motor because her old one got hydrolocked and now the motor is in, but has no wheels. So I was wondering if stock 14" steelies will clear the brakes.

My initial response would be yes, because you can fit 14" on the integra.

Question

I thought you had to shave a little off the calipers to make them fit? My friend has a 00 Si and he bought some 14" wheels for Auto-X and he said he had to shave down the calipers a little. The wouldn't even turn because they were rubbing...

well what kind of 14" rims were they though? in this case it's not really the diameter that matters, it's the backspacing.

the reason why i said that is cuz the 14" spare rims/tires included in the integra, so i was assumin that it will obviously fit the integra.. same goes to civic too.

I don't know what kind of rims they were. They look like ass, but don't weigh very much. Not steelies, though, so I guess it's different.
