Will it help?

I am looking at buying an ECU, intake manifold, and the fuel injectors off a stock 2001 integra type R. Will the stock ITR fuel injectors help over my stock 2000 civic si ones? And will I be able to use the ECU out of the ITR and will it actually help? My friend just bought the car and the guy he bought it from gave him the stock parts for free. Thanks for the help.

you could use the intake manifold but the ecu wouldnt work from the immobilizer. its a usdm type r right? as for injectors if ur cars pretty much stock i wouldnt bother unless its for a very cheap price. im not sure how different they are from each other

the injectors are the same size as your stock ones. the intake manifold is only slightly better than the stock one. and the ecu wont work.

Yup like they said, the ECU won't help at all, in fact you'll most likely lose performance AND gas mileage.
...and the USDM ITR injectors are the exact same size.

The only decent thing is the intake manifold, but I wouldn't put that on without getting an ITR throttle body or boring your stock one to 62mm and matching the back to the plenum of the IM.

yea the ecu isnt set for the trottle body, cam, compession so it wouldnt work as already stated. the intake manifold has wider runners so it will help but ur prob not gonna notice a difference. just buy aftermarket stuff

Well I am going to get the Intake manifold and put it in. How hard will it be to install and what will I need? The guy does not have the throttle body which I would have realy of liked. I do not have the money right now to buy an aftermarket throttle body right now so it will have to wait. I am going to pay 150 for the IM which is a good deal from what I hear.
