alright i need help with base performance - Honda Forum / Acura Forum

alright i know uthink im dumb prolly but i need help...i have a 2002 base rsx...i kno the k20a3 isnt that amazing of a motor to make fast..but ucan do it im sure..so what would you reccomend..and im not just expecting intake,exaust....cause thats not gonna make my car faster really....any help would be appreciated

ok im gonna put this into lamens terms...u put my cars rpm's at 3500 and then take off and knowing how to drive a clutch and being good with lights at the strip have nothing to do with the fundamental speed or w.e the hell ur talking bout

hmmm well i think a retard can drive to tell u the truth ..i mean u put the car in drive and push down the gas...thats driving

.....and hell i do pretty good when i go run my cars...its kinda weird when a guy who owns crappy cars is telling me i cant drive...

it's too expensive to make that motor fast just do a K24 swap...it's easy and if you want more power after a few moths buy an A2 or A head and you have way more power then you'll know what to do with

haha. you with a base rsx telling him he has a shitty car and doesn't deserve to talk...

trust me, i believe he knows more about cars and drives better than you or else you wouldn't be here asking questions

modding a base is stupid. i've seen it done, it does cost money. power to cost ratio is bad compared to a type-s. however, the modded base i have seen puts out VERY SOLID numbers (and i'm talking like 300whp-297wtq). i've never seen a k20 motor put out that much torque compared to its hp figure. btw, the base i'm talking about here has about half a dozen parts from a "a2" motor. basically i'm saying, trade in your car for a "a2" or do a k20/24 frank or boost or something
