ATTN: RSX owners with a drop!!

I will be purchasing an rsx type-s as soon as my civic sells and the first plan is to give it a serious drop however, any of you who have rsx's have drops? I imagine I will need a camber correction kit right? what springs do you have?

i havent bought my rsx yet but am planning on purchasing some spoon coilovers, they are the best circuit and street coilovers from what i have gathered from a&j racing, and of course you will need a camber correction kit for every car you lower, especially honda's since the suspension wasnt designed with a camber adjusters straight from the factory...jdm all da way...payce...my 2 cents...dam now im broke

Tein coilovers all the way. 16 way adjustable and makes your car feel like you're riding on air. They are the best for the price you pay.

as you can probably tell, this site sucks when it comes to rsx tech, check out *******. but to help u out a little, if you're looking for decent ride comfort, decent performance, at an affordable price, check out neuspeed's sport springs. they run around 140-150 shipped, and i've heard nothing but good things about them. i have them on my civic, and i may go with these for my type-s. if you dont mind the wait, eibach will be releasing their sportlines soon. someone on ******* has the prototype on his car, and it looks veeery nice. be sure with whatever spring u get to get a camber kit. very few people have foregone the kit, and ur tires will thank you later. although i ran with no camber kit on my civic for almost a yr with about 2 degrees negative camber (baad) in the rear and my rear tires are just fine. so here r ur options (spring wise, and based solely on other people's experiences):

h&r - gives a slightly uneven drop, slightly harsher than stock, but very firm handling.
neuspeed - gives a good drop, some say better than stock ride, decent handling.
eibach pro-kit - moderate drop, stock like ride, good handling
eibach sportline - even drop, stock like ride, great handling (based on prototype).
comptech - moderate drop, stock like ride, great handling
tein - even drop, harsher than stock ride, decent handling

than you have your coilover sleeves, which from what i gather are consistent with the past, that is ground controls give a smoother ride, skunk2 gives a harsher, yet firmer ride.

true coilovers... sleep R mentioned the spoons, but keep in mind those are CRRAAAAZZZZYYYY expensive. you may as well go with the buddy club's too. so unless you plan on doing some track/circuit racing, i wouldnt get them, simply bc of the cost. i dont doubt that they handle exceptionally well, but do you really need to spend 2k+ for a street car? ive heard good things about the teins... although im not sure which application they were referring to (ha... ss??), b&g and h&r also either have them out or will have them out soon.

shocks/struts... no aftermarket ones available as of yet. word is koni is shooting for a june/july release.

also, depending on which spring u get, u may want to get some silencing tubes from ur honda/acura dealership... forgot what the parts number is... they have it on *******.

if you lookin to save money on dropping your car, look into the gc coilovers. yea they don't have shocks out for the rsx yet, but just ask the people where your ordering from, to adjust the spring rate of the sleeves. you should only raise it only a 100 each on the coilovers, try and avoid spring rate of 500 though. btw, gc is the only ones who will adjust the spring rate for you.

but if you got the money and willing to spend it, i'd go w/ the whole coilover kit. big names like, tein, zeal, and buddy club. good brands
