Yes..I had that happened when I owned my 2K MRSi, but they were bright ... ...I remember having them melt by the time I got home to get the pieces off the inside of the light housing...: ....you pay what you get for....or is it the other way around....

I wish I could save up..but being "Married with Children"...homeowner, is not easy to splurge...and besides I'm not a big fan of HIDs, just wanted to see if changing the H1's to plasma whites or something else would improve the visibility at night.....thanks for the suggestion...

I was thinking about changing my bulbs but it looks like a bitch. I think I'll save for HIDS so I only have to do it once. But thats my opinion anyway is it as hard as it looks?

while I'm waiting for my lights to come in, I put in some cuzo purple-ish bulbs. I like em, they make everything a bit brighter, more white than any other color. Way better than hyper whites I had used on my other cars. And they only cost me 35 a pair.

I have had really good luck by using replacement bulbs from MotionR. You must order them from Japan where they are my made in the PIAA factory. In my car they put out a real clean white light very very similar to xenon. I am impressed with them.

Take a look at www.fosmo.com or www.powerbulbs.com. I have H1's by Osram from there and they are much better than stock-yet are stock wattage. They are the +30 type and are still 55 watts=100 for the Low beams on our Prelude. You will have to get the headlights reaimed for best performance. With the design of the RSX headlight they should be very nice.

So I switched to Sylvania Silverstars and for the price....10% of actual HID's they're OK...but Sylvania shouldn't advertise as the HID look.....because they're not....but one thing...better than stock...
