Damn man, every time I see your sig when I'm browsing through threads, it makes me stop because I think someone's replying directly to me. It screws with my head.

K-pro is your best route. Depends on the year of your car, serious gains can be had in the 7-8500 rpm range, and nothing will beat K-pro for mid-range gains. All K20's, with real VTEC not economy VTEC, run extremely rich 7000rpm and higher, the 05-06's are worse than the 02-04's, and if you put a race header, not a shorty, but a full header that deletes the cat, it makes the car run even richer. Like WVU said most exhaust make more noise than power as most after market exhausts are 2.41" in diameter and the stock exhaust is like 2.2x". Now if you had a full slew of bolt on's plus RBC, then a bigger exhaust 2.75"+ would be better.
But K-pro unlocks a lot of potential in terms of mid-range and cleaning up a very rich stock fuel map.
