Anyone doing this swap may want to consider having a look see here. The directions are a bit vague, but I have all the in's and out locked down. These are the parts I needed to do the swap on a 2005 RSX-S.
Parts:
RBC manifold (don't forget to get it cut or cut it yourself)
06-07 Si throttle body gasket
RSX throttle body gasket
Karcepts/Blox throttle body adapter
RSX-S intake manifold gasket
About 30 inches of 16-18 gauge wire
About 2ft of 3/8 coolant hose
6 butt connectors for 14-18 gauge wire
Tools:
10mm socket and wrench
12mm socket and wrench
Flat head screwdriver
Phillips screw driver
Hex/Allen key for adapter bolts
Long nose pliers (straight or curved)
Wire strippers/cutters
Wire crimpers
Removal:
Taking off the intake manifold is pretty easy. Just take off all of that plastic crap off and lay it aside. Remove injector clips from the injectors. The remove injectors and rail as a unit (to avoid ruining seals) Disconnect the rail from the line, and put aside. The injector rail spacers will be reused. Remove the connectors to the throttle body (total 4) and the two hoses to the throttle body. Place aside. Remove all 7 (I think ;P) 12mm nuts/bolts holdnig the manifold on. ( there is a bracket on the underside holding the manfold on [12mm]. Remove so that you can take of manifold easier) After loosening all of the 12mm intake manifold bolts, there will be 2 studs left on the top of the manifold where 2 nuts come off. Use those two nuts to take the studs out of the head so that the manifold can come out with ease.
To modify RBC:
To get an idea on where to cut (if you do it yourself) align the RSX-S gasket to the new manifold, get a sharpie and tarce it. all that does not fall under the gasket, that's what you cut off. Make sure you cut it a close as you can to ensure that the manifold doesn't touch that coolant jacket to the right (where what you cut off would be). If not, you can run the chance of metal to metal contact and you may damage a component in that area.
Karcepts/Blox adapter install:
Put it on, tighten the hex nuts. THE GASKET GOES ON WHATEVER PART IT IS FOR! The RBC throttle gasket goes on the RBC side of the adapter and the RSX-S gasket goes on the thottle body. Tighten!
MAP sensor:
The sensor on the top of the throttle body (MAP sensor) needs to be removed from there and relocated to the new hole on the RBC. That's where the wires come in. Cut the 30 in wire into three even lengths. Cut the MAP sensor clip wires to leave enough to butt connect them. Butt connect each end to extend the map sensor to it's new location on the top of the RBC manifold. The adapter will come with a little rubber stopper that will take it's place on the throttle body.
I get a pretty good deal on all of the parts. I can beat most anyone out there online. Just let me know thru a PM
