Nas is underrated, he is a good lyrcist. But I think 2pac has a lot more meaning in his songs. I am not shure about Eminem, he just good. Some people seem to hate Nas, dont know. I guess it all depends on ur style and taste.
I like nas, he's a great artist IMO. He doesn't put out too much work compared to other rappers but the stuff he does put out is usually really good lyrically.

though i think in comparing 2pac and nas is hard. I think where they are from plays a big role in the sound, as well as content. When you put in an album like illmatic, there is no doubt that its New York.
both of them are....black activists..(lack of better words)... the last few tracks on stillmatic really remind me of a lot of the things pac was trying to say.
i cant compare him to em, cuz i dont really listen to him.

nas is the shit. When I put on illmatic, it doesn't matter what I'm doing, or where I'm at, his music makes me feel like I could be walking through QB. There aren't that many artists out there who can do that, paint that good of a picture with words and music.
yea, Nas is ill. I think whoever said that comparing them is wrong because they are from different places is right. West Coast life, and East Coast life differ some. Em, he's a good rapper, but all his content seems the same.

i think he ended his pop streak w/ "stillmatic." Not that he went underground or anything, but he left a lot of the bling bling behind. I mean it'll alwayz be there cuz when your on top, money, bishes, etc are alwayz gunna be there, but i think he chooses to talk about it less in the last couple albums.

yeah, i agree....first album was amazing...second album was alright....third and fourth were a little iffy but the was allow some good content on them...fifth one was alright but God's Son amazing, second to Illmatic.
he'll always be my favourite MC
