Amp wiring

Hey,
Its been some time since I have been on here or messed with cars but..

I am trying to install my JL 500/1 in my 350z. The power wire and ground are hooked up. So what I thought was the remote wire. The JL Amp has no lights that come on. I double checked the power and ground and nothing. The turn on wire was connected to the wiring harness for the Kenwood DPX 701 to the wire that states turn on wire. When I looked at the harness nothing on the other side was connected to the car itself

Turn on, harness and then nothing going to the car as shown below
-----------[]

I tried the turn on to the antenna wire and nothing. Can I use the red wire going to the headunit thats for power? Should the amp show a light even though there is no turn on? I dont think so right?

Thanks!

You need to PHYSICALLY run the Remote(REM, should be a small blue wire) from the deck to the amp itself. Hooking it up to the hardness will turn on the deck only. So just tap that wire and run it along with the RCA wire to the amp.

Thats my problem is that blue wire on the harness does not connect to anything. There is no blue wire coming off the deck itself, and that one just says antenna power.

If that wire is not there can I tap the power wire for the head unit?

You don't see the blue wire with a small white strip on the harness for the deck? I never installed that HU before so I can't confirm it 100%, but 99% of every basic install is the same. I downloaded the manual and that is what the manual said. On the Manual its page 54.
