I have a compustar alarm in my del sol (standart shift) with the 2W900FMR remote.
My questions are:
1. How hard is it to wire up the autostart (knowledgeable about wiring shit up i know what I'm doing most of the time) and do I need some special module for the auto start feature, does the remote have to be programmed some special way?
2. When I got the alarm originally installed he said once you get a 2 way pager the regular (remote without the lcd, ordinary 4 button remote) will no longer work. Is this true? I find it hard to believe as I see on ebay with both versions included in packages and I am pretty sure I have seen people with both.
