crx head unit. need mounting hardware?

My car came with a JVC cd player that wasn't installed. Just out of the box basically. But the car simply has an open hole then a divider then another open hole. If I put the cd player in its just lose and falls back. There doesn't seem to be any way of mounting it unless I am missing something here. Any ideas? Maybe I can get some pics up tmrw.

do you have the radio cage? it is a metal sleeve that fits around the radio and has an 1/8" lip that keeps it from sliding back into the dash and tabs that you bend out to hold it in the dash. it also has tabs that lock into the radio when you slide it into the cage (you need keys that come with the radio to remove it).

if you have a jvc you should be able to use one from any pioneer, kenwood, newer (05+) alpines, and jvc (of course). most car audio shops should have some laying around (they might charge you $5 for it)

you should be able to get a universal pocket that will fill the other hole, too. expect to pay around $15 for that.
