do i need an amp?

im looking at purchasing the infinity reference 605cs component speaker system. i went to their website and downloaded the directions to preview the install. it said to connect the crossover to the amp. does this mean i also have to buy an amp?

If you ever question if you need an amp, then get one. Cleaner sound is always better.

if yoru running it off yoru stock head unit, you'd definatlly want a amp. but if you got aftermarket head unit, you can get away with otu a amp until you realize the diffrence it'll make.

the diffrence is night to day.
