Hey what's up fellow hondadians...lollo ok I bought a new set of pioneers 280 door and rear speakers I have a sheerwood 100 watt amp and a new cap 1.5 farad I already installed a 800 watt hyfonics amp 2 my 12inch solobaric kicker my question is which would be a better hook up leaving the 4 pioneers through the factory hook up or install the second amp and install the cap on the subs power line or can I tap into both power lines or make it 1 powerline 4 everything..I dunno...suggestions please
the audio section would definitely be better.. this is the d-series specific engine tech section.
you've got to be more clear though man. your pioneers are 280 what? watts? a 100 watt amp? most all aftermarket decks have bigger amps than that inside them. to run one power cable, look into a distribution block (run BIG power cable and big, short ground).

What is that sheerwood amp hooked up to?
To get the best sq out of a system you need to amp it. Not to knock you, but everything you have is junk except for maybe the kicker subs. So don't expect much from it even with an amp.

what do you mean power lines you talking about the power wire from the battery. is that sheerwood even a 4 channel amp? if not you could amp the front speakers and hook the rear up to the deck.
run a thick enough wire back to a distributer. from there run one wire to a fuse, then to tha capacitor, then on to your sub amp.. tha second from tha distribtor to a fuse, then on to yuor 4 channel.. feel me?

What's wrong with hifonics, they're rated the best bang for the buck... And pioneer recently released some of the most revolutionary speakers available today for a great price
