There is a big chance its your battery. It probably can't hold charge.Does your car turn on at the turn of the key? It could also be you don't have proper gound from the battery to the chassis.

when its on idle the rpms go up and down, i checked the volts on the battery and it read 12.6, i let it idle longer to see if it would go up and then it read 12.2. When i charged the battery it was ok the system messured 13.6, then i started driving again and the battery light came on. I got the alternator tested its good checked for resistance in the cables to the alternator and back there isnt any, only thing i think it might be is the regulatoir in the alternator but since the test on the alternator is good im in ????????

your battery should read 14 to 14.5 volts when the car is running if your alternator is good.

Ditto Might wanna check it with an AMP meter too to check its putting out the proper Amperage.
