quick alarm question.

My RED wire for my alarm is disconnected from my inside dash. i believe its the wire where they wired up the alarm sound. anyone know where does it hook up too? i tried hooking it up to a power line (such as radio power red line) and when i turn on my car the alarm goes off. anyone know where to hook it up?
