spare tire enclosure

I wanted to see if anyone out there has made or seen a fiberglass spare tire well enclosure with a false floor and flush mounted amps that has kept the spare tire. I have a 97 accord and I commute to work about 100 mile round trip per day. I really am not too enthused with the idea of dumping the tire just to get a clean looking install. Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

FYI.. the subs are D series solobarics so volume of the enclosure is not an issue, less than 2 ft^3 for both 12's

Thanks

I was able to keep my spare in my install as well.

that first pic would be even more impressive if they didn't use the donut. Just my opinion though. I mean they obviously went through a lot of trouble to make it look good, but then used the stock spare. It still looks really awesome though.

Yeah you're right, the donut really makes it out of place but it looks like he made it just for that. You can see how the EQ matches the width of that glass bucket. They don't make fancy donut spares do they? Otherwise, he could simply cover it with another plexi or fiberglass top on it.

I've seen a lot of other installs with visible full size spares in it. I can't seem to find it.

I think there's one on the jl site. An RX-7 i believe it was, had the full size spare. I could be wrong though.

MMMMMM...IDQ-31's...can't wait to get my 3 back from ID!!

I did one in my brother's BMW, but it had a full size spare in it (17x8) so it was fairly easy, and it was only one sub.

Sorry, but I never got the finished pics up there.
