Not sure why, but sometimes when I turn my car off, the rear speakers that I have pop for a second. Does anyone know what the cause of this could be? This doesnt happen all the time- just happens like maybe once everday.
Well here is my setup to help you out: 2 gauge wire from battery to dist blk. From dist blk, two 4 gauge wire- one to each amp. Amp one is 4 channel- for highs and mids- 200w. Amp two is mono- for lows- 1200w. For the remote lead, I am using a relay that splits the out put to 2 wires, one for each amp. Both amps interconnected.
Some amplifiers make some noise when they turn on, never heard of one that does so when you turn it off. Take it out of the signal line and maybe try another amp to narrow down where the noise is coming from (processor, head unit, etc).

What kind of relay are you using? Try taking the relay out of the equation. I think your amps are staying on slightly longer than your HU. The remote lead from your aftermarket HU should be sufficient to trigger both amps' remote inputs with the use of a relay.
I think he just hit the nail on the head. Get rid of the relay, and see if it still does it. A friend of mine had that happen to him in his eclipse, and he had the same setup as you(as far as the relay is concerned).
Thanks for the help guys. Im gonna try removing the relay this weekend. Wish I could do it sooner, but too much rain in the past couple of days.
But just to ask, wasnt I suppose to use a relay due to the current draw that my amps are pulling? Atleast I was told something to that effect. Also, I might be adding some neons, which should add to the load.
so then basically i dont need a relay period. I should just run the neons off some other accessory, or off a switch that connects to the wires for the lights. Right?
