Speaker Problem

So i was taking out the old deck and replacing my new pioneer one on the integra when i noticed the hack wiring job the last owner did
so i scoped it to make sure it was ok then started to plug in the new deck
it was all the way plugged in when it turned off
and i noticed a exposed wire hit the metal
now i checked the fuse and it was blown
buttt could my speakers be blown to
cause i replaced the fuse and the deck turns on
but no sound through the speakers
any help?

Do you know which wire it is that touched the metal?
You might of blown the amp inside the deck.

To see if the speakers are "dead" use a battery to test it.

This is a polarity test, but you can use it to see if your speakers are fried or not. It should make a "popping" sound when you touch the wires together. If you hear nothing, they are toasted. I would do this from the car harness itself before you connect them to the deck.
If you don't hear anything, I would do it again, but this time pull out the speakers and wire it directly to the battery. If still nothing, the speakers are shot. If you get something, you have a bad wire somewhere in the harness.

Up to you. But before you spend $100+ on a new deck, I would see if you can borrow a deck from someone to test them out.

If you can't do the battery test to find out what is wrong.
