Which Sub boxes are the best?
I was wondering which sub boxes are the best ported, sealed, or banddpass. I currently have 2 Kenwood 3005's 12's in a bandpass box. I want 2 customize my own box, bandpass box is 2 big for my trunk i barely hsve room. i was considering goin with ported but i dont kno which box would sound best with my 2 12's and 1000 watt amp. Any information u can spare me will be great and deeply takin in2 consideration. Thanks.

ported boxes tend to be more "peaky" meaning what the box is tuned to(hz) it will hit hardest at that point and kinda get weaker further away from it.
sealed boxes maintain a flatter freq. response so it will tend to have better sq
band passes are good boxes but only when the are perfectly matched to the sub that is in them, pre fab banpasses suck IMHO.
which ever box you choose make sure to fallow the specs for that sub cause each sub has it's "sweet" spot as far as boxes and very rarly will 2 different subs sound even remotely the same in the same box

Calm down i know your proud of your W7 but i'm just saying that my 12w6v2 in my built to spec box with a 1000.1 hits hard as hell for 1 sub. And in my opinion a built to spec slot ported box will own all unless you can find a "real" spec2 virtual technologies box. Their were guys in 98 hitting 150db with 2 10's Rf's with a virtual technologies box, then you had alot of knock off companys kill their business.
