Donation of Car for single mothers?

Help! I'm a single mother, I have no car and I've been having to borrow a car or walk to be able to get to work. I'm living with a roommate, but she's moving out of state, so won't be able to borrow her car for much longer. Does anyone have any idea where I could go to either apply for a car donation or any charity that might help me? I'm in desperate need.

I've heard that churches have organization to help out with cars. Also if you have a case worker that helps with your son they should direct you to the right organization.You can Car Donation In New York and get free tax deduction.

You can also try the Car Donation site list.
They have a list of car donation sites ordered by states over there. I think I saw a charity organization which may give out donated cars.
