I am collecting the parts for my suspension upgrade, Eibach Pro kit (check), Koni yellows (check), sway bars(?). I found very little information in the "sticky" threads about sway bar recommendations. What is the popular opinion for sway bars for a daily driver? I do not want a crazy harsh ride but I do want to control body lean. Any input is greatly appreciated.
In order to cross the parts to my 04 Accord do I stick in the 03 to 05 model range?? Also, do I source these from the junk yard or dealer? or does it matter? Thanks.
these parts all appear to be so cheap, that I would go straight to the dealer. Looks like < $300 gets you front/rear sway and strut tower bar. That is incredibly hard to beat.
Pull up the parts catalog for either a 2k6 or 2k7 TL-S. Either one will work as the only differences is that the 2k7's front sway bar is solid and the 2k6's is hollow. Locate the parts and place your order.
I just tried the link and it doesn't work! Sorry! So here's a new one!
Just to add, if you order TL parts, you need to get them for the Manual transmission 04-06, or the 07 Type-S. The manual was the "sport" model with the same suspension as the type-s.
Mods: V6 Coup Front Strut Brace, Comp-Tech Short Shifter, 2K6 TXS IM, 2K7 TL 27mm Front & 20mm Rear Sway Bars, CUSCO Lower Front Brace, CAI,4-2-1 Header (ceramic coated inside & out).
