04 Accord sway bar options

I am collecting the parts for my suspension upgrade, Eibach Pro kit (check), Koni yellows (check), sway bars(?). I found very little information in the "sticky" threads about sway bar recommendations. What is the popular opinion for sway bars for a daily driver? I do not want a crazy harsh ride but I do want to control body lean. Any input is greatly appreciated.

There's some info here:

http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/sh...&highlight=bar

Do a search for "TL bar" or "sway bar" and you should find more info.

I would imagine that the TL front strut tower bar would bolt up as well. That thing is beefy and only costs $50

TL

In order to cross the parts to my 04 Accord do I stick in the 03 to 05 model range?? Also, do I source these from the junk yard or dealer? or does it matter? Thanks.

If you want a strut tower bar. Get one from a 7th gen Accord V6 Coup. Direct bolt it!

I'd get my parts for a dealer. As I wouldn't want to trust suspension components from a car that had been wrecked.

these parts all appear to be so cheap, that I would go straight to the dealer. Looks like < $300 gets you front/rear sway and strut tower bar. That is incredibly hard to beat.

Do I request 04 TL Parts? I know that the typical parts man isn't going to know what I am doing.

Go on-line at the web site that ks posted:

http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal

Pull up the parts catalog for either a 2k6 or 2k7 TL-S. Either one will work as the only differences is that the 2k7's front sway bar is solid and the 2k6's is hollow. Locate the parts and place your order.

I just tried the link and it doesn't work! Sorry! So here's a new one!

Just to add, if you order TL parts, you need to get them for the Manual transmission 04-06, or the 07 Type-S. The manual was the "sport" model with the same suspension as the type-s.
