18'' wheels for honda and lower suspension

Hello guys. I want to buy an 18'' wheel from Sportmax wheels. XXR Wheels - The Pursuit of Lightweight Wheel I really like the XXR01 model.
I have a 2003 honda civi coupe EX blue (V-Tech engine). Also, I want to lower the suspension about 2 to 2.5 inches.

Do you guys think that 18'' is too much for my Honda? Will that slow the car too much?

What about about the kit to lower the suspension? Is Eibach good for Honda Civic? Do you guys have any recomendation? Ca I just buy the springs and still use the original suspension? If I have to buy a new suspensio, which one should I get?

I would like some help please. This is the first time that I do something like that. I do know that a lower suspension means rough ride. However, I do like it to be low.

Thanks for your help.
Rafael

18 inch wheels on a civic is wayyyy too much. if you do put that size rim on your car, it will slow it down a pretty good amount. if you wanna lower the car, Eibach is an alright brand. but there are better suspension products out there that you can get for just a little bit more money compared to what you will spend on Eibach. If you wanna just get lowering springs, get Tein. they use your stock struts and everything else. you just replace the springs. they ride great, and it will lower your car with a very nice stance. for whatever you want to buy, make sure you use a search engine to further assist you in obtaining more knowledge of what you are interested in. hope this helps you out. good luck!
