Brake pedal sinks to floor
My brake pedal had normal travel when stopping, but once my car had come to a stop, the pedal would slowly sink to the floor, requiring me to lift the pedal and press it down again to keep the car from moving. The brake fluid was less than 6 months old, but I changed it with one brand new quart of Prestone Dot 3, beginning with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder. After changing the fluid, the problem persisted and I'm not sure what to do. I doubt the fluid is boiling because the problem occurs when the brakes are still cold.
