dude sportlines are absolute garbage.
:boo :boo
Lower drop + cheaper = low tech cheapo ricer coils
Every car I've seen & ridden in on sportlines rides like trash. Nobody in any respectable auto-X or racing circuit will use them because the spring rate sucks. You're better off cutting your stock springs.

Yes this is all true, so for OVERALL looks, driveability and ride comfort I recommend H&R sport or Neuspeed sport along with Koni yellows. Of course you can get a better setup ideally with a true coilover system but we dont all have that kind of money. Dont waste money though on a cheap spring and shock setup, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. Do your research.

Well, I've been on this h&r sport + koni yellow combo for nearly a year now and I still love them. Daily driver friendly and perform quite well to boot

that's a good combo.
What camber kit are you using?
for 100% looks would the eibach pro-kit and oem shocks be ok? i want it to ride smooth but i hate fender gap. i could care less about performance though, so as long as it'll ride smooth i'm good to do.

Well with the pro kit you're still gonna have some fender gap. The pro kit was designed for a minimal drop so it'll only take the edge off your fender gap, with more in the front than the rear, just look at my sig. I think you'd be ok with stock shocks and pro kit, cause those springs arent overly stiff at all. If you're wanting good looks, you cant hardly beat H&R sport or Neuspeed sport springs. But you'd need new shocks with those.

I just recently installed an omnipowerusa front camber kit. I didn't *need* one due to the drop. I got it to dial in the amount of negative camber that I wanted.

read up on how springs work. you can't slam it and have a good ride... its just not gonna happen with springs... go get some airbags and be done with it...
i only read the 1st page so i don't know if this was brought up.. but just looking at the comparison pics, you can tell that handling will be more neutral with the h&r over the prokits.. why? if you look at the coils, the prokits appear to be thicker up front and thinner in back compared to the h&r which are slightly thinner up front vs. prokit and thicker in the rear vs. prokits.. that translates to lower spring rates up front and higher spring rates in back (vs. prokits)..
also, as mentioned.. the dead coils do nothing for ride quality.. they're just there so that the springs are compressed on the shocks and not dangling around..
Just a quick question, ever hear of b&g springs? im running them onmy 93 coupe and they are 1.75 drop across the board, ride nice and dont beat you up but seem to handle long sweeping onramps very nice. The only concern i have is that once they "settled" the left side seems a tad lower then the right, now i know im a real big dude and the springs have only been on there a couple of days but my concern is whether or not the right side will "settle" to the same point without all my weight on it constant?
