help with ground control install

Ok I have ground control coilovers and tokico illuminas. I need help on the install on the rear. I got the fronts on ok. My question is how do you make the sleeve fit tight over the shocks. I just used the O rings on the front and the sleeve fit tight. For the rear, if you use the O rings, the sleeve is still loose. The instructions they give you suck. It says to use the split urethane on the shock but in the pic it looks like the small split urethane not the long one. Also do you use the o rings inside of the split urethane. Thanks for your help

For the rears... install the 'O' ring..then the urethane sleeve and check fitment. If it is too tight.. move to a smaller ring, if it is too loose... move to a larger ring.

It really doesn't matter which one you use.. just as long as it doesn't interfere with the natural compression of the strut. Basically, the only reason it is there.. is to take up space so it won't 'slap' around and help keep it centered.

BTW.. your welcome.

I figured it out the day you post the first reply, I just tried different combonations until it fit, so I ended up using the long split urethane with the thin o rings inside of it. I'm waiting to put it in this weekend, the rear bolts were too tight, so I will need an impact gun. My friend will help me with that.
