Help, i have a problem that is pretty bad. I have a 99 Civic Ex and I just put on the 99 Civic Si rear sway bar. When turn hard left or have people sitting on the passenger side, the sway bar hits the exhaust piping that is going to the muffler (Apex'i WS) at the corner part of the sway bar, so at the joint. I have prokits on stocks if that helps. But i dont know what to do. Is this because of the lack of grease that is missing on the sway bar? I put some wd-40 to test out but it still happens when i am just sitting there idling.
get an exhaust shop to weld on some new shorter hangers for the exhaust.

Mods: i/h/e msd ext.coil, wires, ignition sys, front&rear sway bars front upper rea lower tie bars.soon to drop in gsr motor and auto to manual swap $5,000
exaust pipe bend
it will need to curve up more and a shop like midas around 40 also you can use lock lubricant [graphite] in a spray works great
You wont even need a weld.
You cant weld t304 stainless with a gas torch, so they will use an adjustable strap and drill it into the frame, and then tighten it like a belt up closer to the frame, expect 50$
If this does not work you have 2 choices, dump the sway bar or have the exaust cut and rewelded with a slip, to clear any sway bar.
I can tell you I had all three done, I had my exhaust cut and re-welded to clear the bar, then a custom hanger and then wound up taking the bar off, what a waste of money
Once you have a very stiff suspension the rear sway bar is not warranted anyway, although the Si bar is a pretty good size. Regardless of suspension mods.

Once you have a very stiff suspension, you no longer have a very streetable car.
