Right now I'm kinda of stuck on which is faster, because I keep hearing different things. So I need some opinions. What is faster a 92-95 civic dx hatch with a b16a3 with i/h/e, or a 94-95 integra gsr with i/h/e? Which one will be easier to get into the low 14s naturally aspirated? Anyone have personal experience?
You question would really depend on the driver also ... I believe that the GSR would have more potential to make power naturally aspired ... that's my opinion ..
th hatch most definately. guy has the same set up as you list he runs low and mid 14. he smokes me bad i got a 99 si with i/h/e. he has major traction problems though. i race a gsr it was pretty much even.

i had a 89 crx si with a b16a1 swap and i could keep up with gsrs and some times win. my guess would be the hatchback if it was installed right and the lighter car always has the advantage!
you had a b16 in a 89 crx...and you had trouble beating GSRs? Was there something wrong w/ you car...cuz i can whoop on them big time, keep up and beat ITR's and beat RSX type S, and i'm pretty much stock, and a lot heavier than your 89

If you are so preoccupied with the power to weight question then worry no longer and do as I do.

the reason i had trouble beating gsrs is casue i had 2 12s and 2 amps and 17 inch rims full body kit and a bad transmission! thats why i have a civic now the crx trans died and i just sold it to the highest bidder. and the few gsrs i raced werent stock haha!
haha i miss that car!:

Mods: AEM Cold Air, AEM Fuel Rail, AEM FPR, Spoon 4-1 Stainless Header, Spoon Test Pipe, Apex-I World Sport Exhaust, Intrax ARS Coil-Overs, Mugen Upper Front and Rear Strut Tower Bars, Benen Rear Lower Tie Bar, Spoon Front Lower Tie Bar, 16" Spoon SW-
A b16 civic should be able to spank a GS-R...especially one that is your gen. One of the guys I run with has a 99' DX with a B16 w/ I/H/E/FPR/ fuel rail and he keeps up really well with my stock type R...so you shouldn't have any problem...even if the GS-R has basic mods.
And in the case of a B16 Cr-x...that would crush a gs-r...and probably be neck and neck with the type r...depending on the driver. The Type R will lead off the line but the CR-X should catch up fast once the torque difference is negated.

i have a b16a sir2 jdm swap in my 96 civic, and i took a 95 integra gsr that had i/h/e...and i currently only have an intake, with stock exhaust!!!....
damn...the civic stock exhaust is soooo restrictive. Expect to pick up around 12-15 whp w/ a good cat back. These are good goods, as soon as VTEC kicks in...there is just a huge jump in power. I've seen people pull 20whp just from changing the exhaust.
