b16 intake manifold on b18a1?

Before I go outside into the very bitterly cold air, I wanted to see if anyone could confirm/deny the possibility of my b16a1 intake manifold fitting on my b18a1 head. I completed the LS swap into my CRX, but would really like to simplify my vac lines. The b16a1 obd0 intake manifold only has two vac hoses, which is great for simplicity, compared to the 10 or so on the b18a1 intake manifold. Does vtec actually change anything on the intake manifold? Are there any specifics I should be watching out for?

Oh, another reason for this swap is that I broke off one of the fuel rail bolts on the b18a1 intake manifold, and the b16a1 intake manifold kind of fell into my lap. Thanks for any assistance you can offer!

Sorry this reply is so late. Did you try this yet? I know some have made them fit but they aren't direct fit. I think a little grinding of bolt holes is necessary and some rework of the coolant port on the manifold flange also.

I haven't taken the time to try it, I'm too busy trying to find a header combination that will both clear the b18a1 and mate with the stock exhaust so I can drive again... it's not going well.

what you,re gonna find is exactly what the last guy said. The inetake for the b16a isnt gonna line rite up. Ur gonna have 2 do some grinding and cutting. The same thing with the header manifold ur lookin for. Prepare yourself to visit the muffler shop if you want it to connect properly.

Haahaahaa, shop? Good advice, but that's comical. I can't remember the last time I went to a shop for anything (including my custom exhaust and my custom header). I'll be sure to get pics and do a writeup, keep an eye on my site for the article.
