not exactly, JDM motors are not stamped w/ a head code so yes a JDM ITR motor will only read, B18C but so will the JDM teg SiR-G which like eg86b16a2 said is a GS-R in america

you will probably be fine but when you get your engine, if you suspect that you may have a recieved another engine like a B18c1 w/ a ITR intake exhaust and red valve cover, you can always check the tops of the pistons should read P73-00 where the GS-R(SiR-G) would read P27-00 and USDM pistons are the same except they have lower comp and read -A0 instead of -00

the jdm b18c1 has 180 hp, and is not a type r motor. All ITR motors are b18c5's, and differ with hp between usdm and jdm.

yeah but like we said, no head code stamp on JDM engines so it just says B18 on both

JDM engines do not have a number after the block ID. US and European honda blocks only have numbers after the "B18C/B16A" stamps.
but a JDM ITR engine would be a "B18C" engraved stamped; and the tranny should have a black LSD stamp on it too.
