B18c motor in 89 hatch

Hello. I am new and I have a 89 civic hatchback aka the smashback

I am in the market for a new engine and it is going to either be a B16a vtec or a B18c GSR vtec. I want to know which would be my best bet? I know they will both make the car fast but will they both fit nicely or will I have to tweak them to fit and all? Any comments/concerns are welcome. Thanks!

you should search before you make threads
but of course the b18c is going to be your best bet, stronger motor than the b16 and more displacement ftw
they will both fit but you will have to do some tweaking, use the search function to find more information
