b20 vtec spark plugs, wires.. what should i use?

well my car has a b20b vtec with a b16a head.. i think its time for a tune up but im a little confused on what parts to use.. when i got the swap done the shop told me to for the bottom end buy b20 parts for top end buy b16 parts..

i just wanted to double check and see what brands i should get or if theyre any suggestions ( i did a quick search but didnt find exactly what i was looking for )

what distributor cap and rotor should i buy? for a civic si, or honda crv?

what spark plugs, and wires should i buy too? should i just get oem quality or next one up??

and i was reading up on the spark plug gap, should i do it at .44?

the cars a 1997 civic ex, b20bvtec b16a head stock interals with arp rods and new bearings...(if it makes a difference in the parts i should be buying)

any other suggestions for stuff i should be changing, swap has 1500 miles on it, the plugs looked bad and the shop told me to do a tune up with in my next oil change so im doing it a bit early...

thanks!

also any one know anything about these clear distributor caps? these seem pretty cool lol

I would use a cap and rotor from a B16A1 I believe they are the same as GSR's so Civic DOHC VTEC or Integra GSR cap and rotor. I would also go with GSR plugs as well. Depending on what your looking for low maintenance or performance I would decide between platinum or copper tipped. I prefer coper tipped. You would need to change them more often but dont get fouled up as easily.

thanks for the help man. i did my tune up on sunday.. and i used stuff for a 00 civic si. and the plugs i got were ngk iredium??

i was having trouble with the wires though i got the wires for the 00si but they didnt fit.. the top was too small and didnt put a seal around the spark plug hole.. went back and pepboy ppl had a hell of a time figuring out.. i finnaly told them to drive a integra (1.8l) gsr beleive and those plugs fit better but not exactly great soo i confusing.. im thinking pepboys has the wrong plugs for the SI

im goin to compair them with my friends b16 swap and see if they were inded wrong..
