TunedTypeR is an unknown quantity at this point
Built N/A?? Spray or Turbo..

I've had alot of question run threw my head the past few days, and well frankly i'm stuck..
I have what most call a "frankenstein" Hybrid..
I have a 1995 B18c Head(stock) and a 1999 B18C5 Bottem end ran by a 99 GS-R Tranny.
My current mods are a Excedy Stage two clutch, Skunk2 Intake Manifold, Short air intake, DC Sports drag headers..
I'm currently tuning my car myself and i have ran into alot of problem of which nobody on ANY Fourm really knows the answer too.. this setup currently gives me a 11.6:1 comp ratio. I'm told i'm putting down a good amount of whp but i dunno.. I wanna spray and a buddy of mine who's the only guy to touch this car other then me thinks i should too, then again i'm looking at turbo.. i can run easily 10 psi on this motor and make well over 350whp.. i'm aiming for around 300 whp.. i could build all motor but i'm not for that..I'm having trouble tuning because with this new manifold.. i dont know where to set my vtec or what igition or fuel i should go up or down on...i'd really know wat base tune to use on it, i have a jdm b18c tune on it now but thats for the gsr manifold..i'm told i could handle up to a 100 ..shot on this botten end but i'm goin to only do 85 or 80, i aint sure.. but what are some thoughts i need some different ideas.. in case yall are wondering fastest time with this motor was a 14.02 at 103 thx !

11.6:1 cr and turbo? naah. not gonna work for ya. Gotta take it down to about 10:1 for turbo. And if you cant take it to a dyno and have a proffesional tuner help you, you can't really do much by yourself at home.

are you tuning with a dyno and wideband?

otherwise you're making changes to the engine that could affect it in ways you dont even know about. i asked this last time, what are you using to tune?

you can get insane power gains from high compression ratio and nitrous if your internals can take it and you have to money for the tuning.

your setup is not the typical "frankenstien". Kinda more like a high-compression type-r. I;d just slam some sick cams in there and leave it.
