Burning oxygen sensors in H22

Hey.... need some professional help here....

i've got a H22 civic and i keep burning oxygen sensors

it's got a Mugen chip and it's running SUPER rich.... i figure that's why i'm burning my oxygen sensors
when i drive it hard and really heat up the engine it starts to stink like eggs... most of the time my engine light comes on

i tried to hook it up to a scanner but i wouldn't work.... i'm guessing it's because of the chip........ am i wrong??

i'm getting the stock H22 chip sent to me so that i can scan it, but is there any other way to scan with the Mugen chip in?

PS. i'm running a P28 with the Mugen chip... when i get the stock chip put in should i scan for a 92-95 Civic Si or a 93-95 Prelude Vtec?? or will i be able to scan it? if not... how do you jump the ECU to read the codes?

Are you running headers or stock h22 exhaust manifold. The egg smell is usally caused by excessive back pressure. Like a rat stuck in you exhaust pipe. In your case it might be pugged exhaust system. The plugged exhaust restricts the hot exhaust gas from exiting and increase tempretures of the exhaust gases. The increased exhaust gas tempretures are probably the reasons for burnt o2 sensors. Tell me what your running from the exhaust side of the head back to the muffler tips. Your pipe diameter might also be too small.

nope.... i'm running the stock exhaust manifold with a high flow cat and 2 1/2" piping all the way back to a performance muffler (Apexi WS cat-back)

i'm almost positive that it's because i'm running that rich.... i know it's not the cat because when my exhaust starts to stink my engine light also goes on

does anyone know how to jump the ECU so i can read the code through the flashing engine light??

Yeah, there is a plug in the passenger side, under the right corner of the glove box. (I think it's yellow) The plug doesn't go into anything but has a rubber cover. Find the plug and put a wire in both of the two holes, then turn the key to the start position and don't start it. The check engine light will blink, long blinks are 10 and short ones are 1. Add up the blinks and search online for the code. I know this is confusing, because it really hard for me to explain any other way. If you need a picture I can run up to my car and take one.
