zerolink is an unknown quantity at this point
can you bar a jdm b16 in a 94 hatch if so then tell me the secret

i want to swap my hatch with a jdm b16 and i wanted to know if its possible to CALIFORNIA Bar it. i want to go legit. i get pulled over enough already. so i figured that going legit will help me out in the future. please help i need to know withing a couple of days before i drop the cash for the swap.

92b16vx is an unknown quantity at this point
Use a USDM ECU.
Motor has to be same year or newer than the car.
and you have to use all the US emissions equipment.

is that what you did or is it something you heard? so the ecu has to come from the us b16a2 or a1? if i put the computer on will the engine light go on? is there anything else because someone said i have to change the throtle body from an us b16

Just something I heard.....from C.A.R.B., if they don't know, than no one does, since they make the policies.

But simply replacing the ECU will not make a code go away. To use the 99--00 Si ECU, you need a conversion harness from OBD IIb to OBD I. Then, you will need to rewire anything like o2, vtec, I believe the alentator has a different number of wires, and a couple other small things.
