code 4 in b18c1 swap in 93 hatch (cx)

i Just did a swap into my 93 civic hatch cx (canadian model) . its a 98 b18c1 and i'm using a p72 obd1 ecu i'm , I'm getting a code 4 or four quick flashes and i think the code is crank shaft position sensor .correct me if i'm wrong . If there is anyone who's done a gsr swap and had this same problem could you help me figure this thing out and what you did to solve it . I would prefer actual people who's done this swap instead of hear say due to the fact that i've tried just about everything . thanks in advance for any help.

this most likely isn't something specific to the swap, unless I am missing something but this is common w/ swaps in general, a lot or times in transportation, lifting, and lowering the engine, etc. sensors become damaged, most likely your crank position sensor became damaged and needs a replacement, if you've already tried that, it could be faulty wiring(rusted, missing or damaged insulation, any number of things) which is causing a bad voltage, another thing I've noticed is that you live in massachusetts, in the east w/ humidity and the salt used on the roads in the winter is extremely damaging to cars and esp. the wiring and sensors, since the crank position is pretty far from the groud(as compared w/ say the O2 sensor), its not as likely but the wires do still come under attack from the elements, so check out the wiring all the way back to the wiring harness connection if you can, and try then try a new sensor

is the code coming up quickly after switching on the ignition or does it pop up after a little bit of time?
have you been driving the swap for little bit without the code and it popped up recently or is this a fresh swap?

if it pops up immediatly it's either wiring or bad sensor.
if it pops up over time then it's intermitant or irratic signal.

four quick flashes does mean code 4, crank shaft position sensor.
Double check the wiring, make sure the positive lead from the sensor is going to the signal line of the ECU and the ground for the sensor is going to sensor ground of the ECU.
I've had more than my share of problems with wires that should be in one place according to the manuals and are somewhere different in actuality.
It also could be a faulty/damaged sensor like absolutmugen said.
