this most likely isn't something specific to the swap, unless I am missing something but this is common w/ swaps in general, a lot or times in transportation, lifting, and lowering the engine, etc. sensors become damaged, most likely your crank position sensor became damaged and needs a replacement, if you've already tried that, it could be faulty wiring(rusted, missing or damaged insulation, any number of things) which is causing a bad voltage, another thing I've noticed is that you live in massachusetts, in the east w/ humidity and the salt used on the roads in the winter is extremely damaging to cars and esp. the wiring and sensors, since the crank position is pretty far from the groud(as compared w/ say the O2 sensor), its not as likely but the wires do still come under attack from the elements, so check out the wiring all the way back to the wiring harness connection if you can, and try then try a new sensor
