crank but no start

sup guys i have any 89 hb with a b16 swap lately after i drive it around town for a while when i go to start it it wont start for a bout 4 to 5 cranks can any one help last week my distributor went out but the dumbass mechanic said it was the timing beltso i got it fixed and it still wouldnt star so i towed it out of that shop and took it to a local performance shop and they said it was the distributor sow ive had it back for a bout three weeks now an just yesterday it started not wanting to start its only done it to me twice but im kinda paranoid can any one help thanx

Dude, first of all... use punctuation. like these

now, there are plenty of things that could be causing your car to stop turning over right away. it could be that you've got a bad starter. it could be the battery is bad, or the alternator isn't good so it in turn drains the battery. you could've had a bad dizz but that's apparantly been emilinated. do a little research and look into it more closely.

my guess is the starter cause that can be intermittent... check and see if it's the alternator or not. get a charge tester and hook it up to your battery. then start your car and turn on every little doo dad you have in your car. radio up loud, rear defroster, Fan on max, headlight on... everyhing. if your car is dropping below about 13 V then you may need a new alternator... try it. and we'll see what happens...

who is they?.. timing is everything. I'd double check to see if all the timing marks line up cause when it's off by a few degrees it will take longer to start. I was just being safe since you call your mechanic a dumbass...
