Is anyone runing www.driveshaftshop.com hybrid stage2 axles for there h22 swap? I keep hearing on how axles are breaking left and right. Also having to get different parts from different cars just for the axles looks annoying. Why not just do it right the first time and get a set of these.I think they retail for $700. I think its money well worth it if they fit like oem and can handle 400whp. Tell me what you guys think.

I heard the Driveshaft shop stage 2's break, but I heard the stage 3's were pretty good. I'm running custom prodrive axles with my swap (in an eg), and have had no problems whatsoever. I recommend them, but they are pricey. Set me back almost $1700.
i was under the impresion that the stage2 axles could handle 400hp. I wanna go all motor and maybe a small shot of nos. I wouldnt be pushing anything over 300whp. I heard prodrive was good but $1700? I got my h22 for that much.

Yeah, I had a buddy with a B20vtec in a hatch and went through 2 sets of the stage 2's, but got the stage 3's and didn't have a problem. As for Prodrive, just depends on which setup you run. They even have this crazy ass full setup for like $4200! Too rich for my blood.
Hmm I dont understand why they would only post hp ratings for a lsd tranny. Anyways I was thinking of geting a lsd for my h22. I guess now's a good time to get it.
they build em for race cars primarily rather than street cars, and with a race car most people would have an lsd tranny, i have been told to get axles rated for double your horsepower without an LSD.
