Question D15B7 to D16Z6...can i do it myself

To tell everyone the truth, I really don't like crooked mechanics. Ever since they messed up my XR350 I don't like giving them my hard earned money either. Is it possible for me to do it? I have basic tools and a little know how, not much though How much does a D15B7 weigh? Could me and my buddies lift it out or do i need one of those big jacks? I'm new to this stuff so any input is helpful.

You can do it yourself as long as you have an engine lift... and tools... Also make sure your wiring harness has the wires for VTEC... If everything's cool then its just nuts and bolts... good luck...
