D16Y7 into a D16Y8 civic

Threw a rod on my d16y8 and bought a d16y7, anyone know what I will need to change?

I've noticed the intakes are different, and that the y8 has a oil pressure switch and the y7 does not, would this cause any problems?

everything is the pretty much the same for the swap. the wiring is what you need to do up. just search on google and you find it

yup, same thing just wiring, I personally preffer the Y7's intake manifold.

y7 intakes are bad for hp. better for low end torque restrictive at higher rpms

Thats always good to know,
I preffered the Y7 cuz I didnt like the bubble looking Y8.

thats not a very good reason. the y8 manifold is still better than the y7. you could always get the z6 manifold and slap it on there. no bubble
