D16z6 into a 94 civic cx need help! about Vtec

I need help in wiring vtec for that motor i am not sure want wires i need and if i need special clips for the wires to connect to the ecu properly. please help if i cant find out how the wire the motor to switch over to vtec i will have to get another 70hp cx motor. weh weh. please help.

I am throwing a d16z6 into my 89 dx so i have the same wiring problems however i am not sure how different the 92-95 dx wiring is from the 88-91 dx wiring. If im not mistaken you have the d15b7 engine?

The thing is, is that for the 89dx to 92-95 Ex/si i have to convert obd0 to obd1, now if yours is obd1 then you should be able to just plug in the p28 ecu (92-95 ex/si) then hook up a wire that connects to the vtec solenoid. Or you could get a vtec controller and go that route. Here are a couple sights that have wiring info but for the 88-91 dx. hope this helps...

Yo thankyou very much. i read up on it last night and i feel more comfortable. Hey i'm also using the same wiring harness in the cx. is that gonna affect anything.

hey I have a del sol s which is basicly the same as a cx and I just a 93 si ecu in for a d16z6 but I still have the d15 in there......only problem is my check engine light is on....is this normal...Any help would be appreciated.
