ECU, Distributer, injector help

I have a 94 Acura Integra RS. I am in process of doing a ls/v-tec swap. I have a B16A OBD0 SIR head. The ECU I have is for a 95 del sol B16 DOHC V-tec P72. From what I've been told the ecu, injectors, and distributer all have to match as being Obd0,1, and 2. My main question is will a 92-95 GSR distributer fit the SIR 1st gen B16 head?

Would there be any benefits to running the SIR ecu instead of running the GSR distributer (ex. rev limit)? I have an conversion harness for the ecu.

First off, a P72 is a USDM GSR ecu it is not a del Sol VTEC ecu. It would work OK to get it up and running but not near optimum. You will want to get it chipped with an LS/VTEC program not a B16 or GSR program, that way you can set the proper rev limit (do not just remove rev limiter), disable the knock sensor & secondary IAB that the P72 is looking for.

If the GSR distributor fits your head, and plugs into your harness, then use it. There is no reason to convert back to an OBD0 ecu either, don't bother just use the plug-n-play OBD1. Also just toss your stock LS injectors in there they will work fine and plug into your harness already. Basically try to stick with all OBD1 stuff, but definitely avoid going backwards to OBD0.
