H22 in a eg whats needed?

Searched around but couldnt find a straight answer on what all is done different then say a b18 swap. Goin to buy a 92-95 hatch this month and really wanted a nice strong DD and i think a h22 with bolt ons would do nicely. Any tips or comments will be helpfull

Well you just have to worry about the axles breaking because they have a bad angle for a h22 in a civic. To answer the question though you need mounts, axles, ecu, trans, wiring, and shift linkage. But if you used that nifty tool called the search button you could find everything you would need.

I thought hasport had some new mounts to fix the axle angling? I know all the basics i need, i was asking if anything needed to be cut or removed? I want to keep a/c and power steering. I did search and things like swap and h22 are commonly used so it brings up hundreds of worthless threads

nah u can still keep ac nd ps, the only thing u got to cut is a little bit off the side tranny mount bracket...also if u not gonna buy expensize axles from like driveshaft shop or somewhere like that u can use 90-93 integra axles...they not that strong but that last a while on a close to stock h22

Yeah already planned on getting some nice axles. Well this will be my first swap so i think im goin to leave the wiring up to someone else. I thought my friend said the shifter sits in a different spot when swapping a h22.??
