Help, Engine bogs down, WTF

I have a 96 Civic with an OBD 1 conversion, 95 LS swap, and Drag 3 kit. I am using my OBD 2 engine harness, modified to work. I have yet to figure out what in the hell is going on. When you give it some gas, it takes a few seconds to rev up, if you floor it the same thing happens. It is not turbo lag, we have disconnected the charge pipe from the TB and the same thing happens. The timing was off, but it is properly timed now. Hell, it ran better when the timing was one tooth of than it does now. It has a small fuel leak at the top of the fuel filter, but I don't see that making it run like it is.

The engine was running fine, then we put the turbo kit on. It still ran fine, but when I drove the car after putting the kit on we managed to crack the end of the crank. We got that fixed and drove a couple laps around the building we were working at and it drove fine. After we got everything cleaned up, we went to leave and it started to act like it wasn't getting any gas.

What I want to know is what else should I check? Do I need the air temp sensor in the intake pipe, or is it not used on OBD1s? Or would that even matter?

This is really starting to piss me off. I am to the point where I want to get it running, sell it, and start over.

Any input would be appreciated,
Rizzo

hmmm well i was fixing my freinds 94 eg with a gsr drag 3 kit. it would bog out big time. then at one point there would be too much gas or too little. the extra fuel pump was messing us up so we jux disoconnected it and let the stock one run. when we let a local shop check it out told us the Fmu might b bad becasue we had our monted at like a 45 degree angle when it should be at a 90 degree angle. also a few days later we installed a vafc and got it tuned it runs real good now. as far as the iat sensor on the intake for obd 1 u dont need it.

For right now I have disconnected the extra pump and FMU and it still does the same thing. I have not thrown any codes, which is weird. I didn't think the IAT was used, thanks.

Anyone else?

Rizzo
