as long as the locking nuts near the throttle rotor are secure it is driveable no matter how the cable is routed, but it should fit into some black painted brackets along the manifold somewhere, im not sure on GSR mani's but on most it has a bracket on the driver side of the mani, then runs into the second bracket where the lock nuts are
