Unhappy Need help with H22A Swap

Ok this has probably been asked before but I used the search and found nothing so here is my question......

Well I have a 1996 Civic with a JDM 93 H22A and a P72 ECU. Here is the issue: I can start my car and it starts fine and the idle will start to stumble and it is running really rich. I can pull off my #3 and #4 plug wire and it doesn't change the way it is idling. I can pull the #1 and #2 and it stumbles like its supposed to. I can hold both the #3 and #4 plug wires to the block and it is sparking. I replaced the Dizzy and the Coil and no change. I checked everything that I could and I have no clue. Can some one please help me.

Thanks....

If you're getting spark on 3 & 4 but removing spark doesn't change idle, maybe the injectors aren't working properly. Also, are you using a resistor box with those injectors? The older Preludes used low impedance injectors which shouldn't fire using a P72 unless a resistor box is hooked up.

Could be running rich for a couple reasons, first there is only 1 O2 sensor which reads off all 4 cylinders. If 2 cylinders aren't getting fuel the exhaust will read high O2 content, think it's lean, and add fuel. The other option is that (if the injectors actually are working) the H22 injectors are substantially larger (possibly 345cc) than stock GSR injectors (240cc) so it is way over fueling.

if your still running rich double check your wiring and make sure that your resistor box is wired up right. if it isn't it will make you run rich

Talking

First off I want to say thank you to you guys for your help. I found out what my problem was. Ok so the OBD2 H22A4 that I origanlly had was fine to run off the OBD2 P72 because it has the crank angle sensor which feeds the signal to the spark and the injectors. So I went and bought a OBD2A to OBD1 conversion cable and installed a Stock P28 ECU and it is running so much better. Now all I have to do is get the P28 chipped and ready for the S300. So if anyone has one that they are willing to sell or trade please send me an IM.

Thanks again,
Cliff
