sohc to dohc help

hi everyone.

my friend wants to buy my b16 from me.

my question is.

its a b16a which if im not mistaken its a 1st gen b16.

and so is the head.

would he be able to use his stock engine harness off his 98 civic ex?
or would he have to get a completely new engine harness?

i know skunk2 and other companies make the obd2 to obd1 pcm connectors so you can run an obd1 engine on an obd2 car.

but will the d16y8 engine harness work ?

the majority of the sensors will work. He will either need to switch a few of the sensors on the intake manifold and injectors or if you have a spare harness you can just switch connectors
