'01 odessey clicking Purge Control Solenoid Valve

Is it OK for the purge control solenoid valve to click or tic intermitently? Sometimes its loud, other times I have to touch the valve to feel the tic.

gaporter50,
Did you hear back from anyone on your post?
I'm researching the same problem on my 04 Honda Pilot.

The purge control solenoid valve sits on top of the intake throttle valve body and has an electrical and 2 vacuum hose connections.
When the electrical connection is removed the clicking stops. When a vacuum line is pinched the clicking stops. After the engine is warm when standing next to the car I hear 10 noticable clicks in 5 seconds.
Sounds like a time bomb under the hood. Very noticible.
I'm researching the source of this problem.
