So after driving for almost 1 year with a blown headgasket I finally saved enough to do a complete engine rebuild along with other several parts that are not pictured here.
The whole process took about 6 months. The machinist took his time double checking everything and so did the engine builder. Overall I'm very pleased with the way it came out. I just finished breaking it in using the Mototuneusa method (Break In Secrets--How To Break In New Motorcycle and Car Engines For More Power).
Idle and part throttle have been set, fuel trims are somewhat in line. All that needs to be done is full throttle tuning on the dyno.
I'm hoping for at least 450awhp and some low 11's 1/4 mile times.

Feels like a new car. Everything on it is new or fairly new. I've changed a lot of other things that are not listed such as rotors, pads, tie rods, ball joints, bearings, etc.
I haven't launched it hard yet because I'm still breaking in the clutch but I did several pulls from 2nd to top of 4th and I love it.
And for only 9psi it pulls very hard.
I'm still tuning the idle and low throttle tunning but once that's done it will go on the dyno and get tuned for 25+psi.

nice. it's good to hear that you plan on keeping the outside stock looking. my buddy back home has a gvr4 that he's been building for the past couple of months or so. he just bought a 20g, hence the reason i'm sporting the big 16g

The exterior has to stay pretty much stock. There aren't many body kits available for it and the one that do exit are very ugly.
Few guys end up going with JDM bumpers but I didn't feel the need to pay 1k for each bumper. I live in NYC so the car gets bumped once in a while, I could not deal with some nice expensive bumpers getting smacked all the time.
There are some external mods but only the ones who know can tell them apart, and they are:
Headlights from a 1993 mitsubishi galant LS (the 91-92 lights have a foggy glass)
Tail lights have the black trim around (rare) but I forgot from what year galant they are.
Painted corners to mach the JDM ones (yes I'm a ricer)
Carbon fiber grille
Carbon fiber trunk painted white with no spoiler ( its not installed yet)
Modified front bumper cover (to allow more air to reach the intercooler/radiator).
